How it is calculated
- Half a month's wage for each of the first five years.
- A full month's wage for each year after five years. Parts of a year count pro rata.
- On resignation: nothing under 2 years, one third for 2–5 years, two thirds for 5–10 years, the full award from 10 years.
- Some resignations get the full award, for example a woman resigning within set periods after marriage or childbirth, or leaving for force majeure.
